Tech @ Tamaki college

Tech @ tamaki college was great. We had a fun time with Mr Mackenzie Brown. We have been focusing on our charity box. We also finished of our other work we have been doing last term. My charity box was about focusing on the blind.

Tech @ Tamaki college T4-W1

Tech @ Tamaki College was great, In graphics we have been doing our art that we did last term. We also made a charity box that we want to support I choose to support the blind because blind is important to me. We also learnt diffrent kinds of shapes that was on a game.

Tech @ Tamaki College - Making Muffins

Today this is our 2nd rotation for tech @ Tamaki College. Brooklyn and I made chocolate muffins. For this we had to follow the instructions that was given to us. The first step was to get a big silver bowl and get 6 measuring spoons. With the measuring spoons we had to scoop 1/2 of flour and another 1 cup with flour. Next we got 1/2 of sugar. After we mixed the egg and the milk together. We also added 1 tablespoon of coco. Then we mixed all the ingredient together. After we put chocolate sprinkles onto our mixed muffins. Then we both put the muffins into the oven and we waited until the muffins we cooked. After Mrs. Tuipulotu got the whip cream out and she put it on top of the muffins. Overall we both enjoyed the muffins.

Tech @ Tamaki College - Cooking

Today at tech @ Tamaki College we had already changed our tech groups. Last term I was in art with Mrs. Telefoni, and this term I am in cooking with Mrs. Tuipulotu. Mrs. Tuipulotu spilt us into peers. My partner for cooking is Brooklyn. We made hot cakes (pancakes). We first mersured the flour ( 2 cups ) and the sugur (1 Cup). Then I craked the egg and mersued the milk ( 1/2 ). Then Brooklyn had to go and get the oil and heat up the stove while I was mixing the ingretdies together. When the stove was heated up I started to make the pancakes. At the end everyone enjoyed having thier pancakes.

Tech @ Tamaki College

Tech at Tamaki College was fun. This was our last rotation with Mrs. Telefoni. We learnt all about the maori Tradition and the maori patterns. We also created a picture of maori traditional pictures like a maori canoe or a maori warriors face. A big thank you to Mrs. Telefoni for teaching us art.

Tech @ Tamaki College

Today LS2 went to tech this morning. This was our 3rd rotation for tech. I was working with Mrs Telefoni, she teachs art. I worked really well with Jona, Jona and I had to draw out our art onto a peice of white paper.

Tech with Mrs Heka

Today at tech we changed our technogly groups. The group the I was in was food tech with Mrs Heka. We were exicted because food tech was the best rotation. I was also got put into groups. I was with Viva and Nickaela. First we had to plan what we had to do. 1 person had to wash the dishes, 1 person had to dry the cups and 1 person had to put the cups away. Also Mrs Heka gave as some really instresting rules that we were not ment to do. She showed us everything that goes with the kichen. We were were making Oreo milkshake. The first thing that we had to do was to get our cooking gear ready. Then we had to grab some oreos with the table we had to open the oreo up and take the white cream out. After we had to put the oreo's into the bowl. Then we had to put a milk into the cup and we had to put icecream after we had to blend the oreo milkshake on the blender. At the end we had to clean up everything. At the end we had to drink our Oreo milkshake. My milk shake was yummy because we all worked together.

Week 2 term 3 - Creating our own animation

Today for tech we have now started to make our own animationed story using Scratch. First we had to make a document or a google drawing. We also added something new to our own learning sites. I found it hard because I could't understand how to use scartch because I still have to learn more. I had fun making our own animation story.

Tech with Ms Anderson

Today we changed class rotation for technology I was in digitech with Ms Anderson. I really liked it, because we had to make our own websites and use different templates. First we had to name our website and put our blog links into the website. Then we had to play a game called Code.org which was a Moana game. It was fun because we had to move the waka to the other side and catch fishes.

Tech - Tinkercad

At tech we used Tinkercad to draw pictures of our teachers, I wanted to make Miss Kirkpatrick. This was a bit hard because I had to put the nose onto the head but it wasn't easy to do. The other job was that we had to make our pictures that we put onto the 2d models compare and contrast template. I made a flower for Miss Anderson the heart shape was for the hole punch.
