Week 3 - Day 1 - Bonus Activity

Information: The hottest temperature on record in each place is: Dallol: 41oC; Dasht-e Loot: 71oC; Tirat Zvi: 54oC; Kabili: 55oC; Bandar-e Mahshahr: 51oC. Crazy ‘eh?! In this Activity, I was asked to use the information above to create a graph. The graph has a title along with the names of each city and their hottest recorded temperatures. You can draw the graph by hand or use a computer programme like Google Draw to create your graph. I decided to use google SpreadSheet. The City Dasht-E-Loot has the highest temperature out of all of the 5 cities, In this city, it has 71 degrees. The lowest temperature is Dallol at 41 Degrees.

  1. Hey Joshua

This is a really great graph. It is very clear to read. You have given it a precise title and have labelled your axis correctly. Well done! How crazy is it that Dasht-e Loot got up to 71°C. I can't even imagine it being that hot. What would you do to stay safe?

    Ngā mihi,

  4. Hi Joshua,
Well done on finishing this activity. I can't believe that it can get that hot in some places. Do you think that you could get instant sunburns in you went to Dasht-E-Loot? Also, do the citizens there have to wear special clothing to get the sun away from them? Keep up the awesome work.
