It looks like you have been keeping very busy during your holidays on your Summer Learning Journey. Well done! I'm looking forward to catching up on all of your exciting blogs.
Thank you for sharing those three wonderful facts about South Africa. I remember watching the FIFA World Cup back in 2010. The All Whites were there! They didn't lose a single game during the competition, and won a lot of fans along the way too. They were unlucky not to make it to the next stage, but it was incredibly exciting to watch our team on such a big stage! Do you like playing football too?
I know that South Africa has had a very tumultuous past unfortunately, and there are a lot of tense relations between some people in South Africa. There has been a significant presence of Dutch and British people in South Africa, and a lot of people haven't been too happy about that! Things are better now since Nelson Mandela ended apartheid, but it's still a work in progress.
Keep up the great blogging Joshua, and I hope you are enjoying your holidays!
