Week 2 - Day 5 - Activity 2

In this Activity, we had to find two rivers in New Zealand that were Polluted. We had to say how it was solved to make it clean. I used a website called Scoop. The 2 rivers I choose were Waikirikiri (Selwyn River) and Tukituki River.

  2. Greetings Joshua,

What an amazing blog post from you. I love it how you've decided to be creative and that you've created a DLO using google slides. Awesome images that you've used. Isn't is cool that we've both chose the Selwyn river. I have learnt a lot from this DLO.

    GREAT:)

  3. Hi Joshua,
Well done on finishing this activity. I like how you put your information about the two rivers into a slideshow. It make your blog post really stand out. Hopefully the Selwyn river and the Tukituki river will be clean one day. Keep up the good work.

  4. Kia ora Joshua,

Georgia here, from the Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster! You will be seeing me and Dani floating around your cluster today, because you guys are so busy. It is awesome to see how much effort and enthusiasm you guys are putting into your blog posts, keep this up!

You have chosen two rivers that I have never heard of before, I love learning new things, so this made me really excited! Thank you for explaining what it means to restore lowland stream flows, I didn’t have a great understanding of what that was, so thanks for that.
Wow that is really interesting, I wonder how they replace the dirty water. Can you explain to us?

I would also like to congratulate you on attributing the photos, we really appreciate this!

    Blog you later!
    Georgia E
