Careers - Hotel/Motel Manager

Today we have been looking at different careers. I choose to do a Hotel Manager. I worked to find out what skills and knowledge I needed to know. I also found out the amount of money I will earn ($38k - $200k per year. The best thing is that I could be cooking or provide food to other members that are in the hotel.

Careers

Today LS2 have been looking at the difference between Jobs and Careers. We used a site called CareerQuest. I worked through by selecting No Interest, Neutral, Fairly Interest or Very Interest. We had to found out what Careers we were interested in. I found that I was interested in being a Police Officer or a Hotel Manger. I also found out that the Hotel Manager you get $38k - $200k of money.  We had to find the same person that had the same suggestions. Joel and I had a similar list of Careers. Matariki 2018

Today LS1 and LS2 have been working in a group to complete a Matariki task. I worked together with Jona, Liletina, Angelica, and Hosea. We created a DLO showing what Matariki is and How Matariki is celebrated. We also watched a video about Matariki. We did this because our school is celebrating Matariki.
