Summer learning journey / Next foundation

Today at assembly some students were given special certificates for completing their summer learning journey blogpost. We first heard from Rachel from the woolf fisher research centre. She talked about us taking part in the Summer learning Journey. Some people from our school took part and some people won 1 of 4 prizes and a Next foundtion t-shirt. I also took part I think I am really proud of my self. I would like to say a big thank you to Rachel and the Next foundation for helping and supporting our school.

Hazel - Summer Learning Journey

On Friday Hazel from the Auckland Univrsitey came in to talk to us about Joining the Summer Learning Journing. Summer Learning Journey is when you blog your activity you did durning the Summer Learning Journing. This year I am taking part in the blogging challenge. I think this will be hard because our Panmure Bridge Year 8 will win.

Week 1 Day 5 Bonus Activty

I choose Dairy of the wippy Kid because I sometimes read that book and it good Pictures and I Like the movie. It about a Boy Called Greg Heffley It really Funny too!









1.I looked around the room. Nothing seemed unusual, but then I went closer something poped in my face I felled so scared I saw blood on the wall And Window Opening and closing

2, I knew it was going to be an unusual day when my mom came into my bedroom and said Son came down and eat dinner then I went to the door and opened the door t Closed the door So I Went out the window and the window shuted and I felled worrid about my famliy

3. The spaceship was out of control and only one person could save us it was a man we tryed to open the door togheth and we did then the man and I went down stairs

This is the book I read this year this book is called Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot And the it is made by 2 people called Dav Pilkey and Dan Santat it is about a mouse called Rick Ricotta and a robort called Mighty Robort I like this book because it got Planets in and it got good comics
