Today in Mrs A's maths group, we had to solve the problem of 21 x 15. I used money to solve the strategy. I displayed the money on the floor and I had to put 5 and ten together in 15 rows. I skip counted in 5's and I came to 105. Next I counted in 10's - which came to 210, after this I added 105 + 210 together, and this made 315.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

Panmure Bridge at te taiao o tamaki
Today some of the students at Panmure Bridge School went down to Te Oro. They went to Glen Innes because they had to perform at Te Taiao o Tamaki. Some people stayed back because only 23 people had to go from our learning space. I stayed back and watched other schools performances on the T.V. Our school came after Tamaki Primary. When Panmure Bridge School came on we all came and watched our school perform. There were lots of people with costumes. The show was about the Johnston reserve, which is our local waterway.

Writing Instructions
Today in writing we were given a set of instructions. We had to put these boxes in order so they make sense. We then had to use our scribble tool to draw around the words that are verbs.

Tech - Tinkercad
At tech we used Tinkercad to draw pictures of our teachers, I wanted to make Miss Kirkpatrick. This was a bit hard because I had to put the nose onto the head but it wasn't easy to do. The other job was that we had to make our pictures that we put onto the 2d models compare and contrast template. I made a flower for Miss Anderson the heart shape was for the hole punch.

Stan Walker DLO ( C.A.R.E Awards) Respect
Today I made a DLO on a respected leader called Stan Walker. He is a famous New Zealand singer. I had to do this for my respect care award. I choose him because to me he looks smart and cool and I like his songs. His songs are mostly about New Zealand.
DLO showing respect ( C.A.R.E awards) Respect
This is my DLO of my photos showing respect. I used photos of me picking up rubbish and staying on task in the classroom, I choose these because they show me being respectful to the school and my teachers.
