Today for maths we have been solving a 9 x tables maths problem. We used our 10 time's table to solve our thinking and our learning. I found this easy because doing the 10 times table was easy to solve.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

Tech @ Tamaki College
Tech at Tamaki College was fun. This was our last rotation with Mrs. Telefoni. We learnt all about the maori Tradition and the maori patterns. We also created a picture of maori traditional pictures like a maori canoe or a maori warriors face. A big thank you to Mrs. Telefoni for teaching us art.

Kiwi Sport
Today at kiwi sport we played rippa rugby with Hamish. We first played a game where we had to split into 2 groups. 1 team with orange bibs and 1 team with no bibs. Then we had to pass the ball to each other without moving and we had to touch the other side with the ball. Then in the hall we played a touch game. Where we can touch the person with the ball with 2 hands. We also had to touch the ball at the other side.
It was fun because I learnt how to defend my self when I had the ball.

Kiwi can
At kiwi can today our theme for this term was Integrity and our topic was making good choices. We had to give ideas to what we should make to make good choices. Our energiser we played was called the clapping game. When the kiwi can instructor hands go criss cross, poke there hand or claps we have to clap our hands. Then we played a little activity called hand soccer.

Roller skating
Today during Lunchtime we had been doing rollerskating with Puna. Puna told us how to stand up when you fall and how to skate. It was a bit easy for me because I learnt how to skate when I was small.

Sophisticated Picture book
For reading we read a book called Memorials. This book was about a son talking about his great grandpa that severed in the world war 1. In this story I learnt what a Sophisticated Picture book is. This means it is mostly read by older adults. I worked well with Junior as my partner to finish our whole slide.
