Week 1 - Day 5 - Bonus Activity

Life in New Zealand was great. Seeing the beautiful place in Auckland was amazing. The SkyTower was the highest and tallest building in Auckland. There were lots of cool playgrounds that had long slides. In New Zealand, there are currently 4,749,598 people who are still in New Zealand in 2018.

In this activity, we had to write a letter about our life in New Zealand. Above this blurb is my short letter about my life in New Zealand.

  2. Greetings Joshua,
Auckland is New Zelands biggest city. I have grown up in Auckland, New Zealand my whole life and it was fun. What is your favorite thing to do outside? I would go to Rainbow end!

    Keep it up Joshua!

  3. Tena koe Joshua,

Well done on writing a short description of what life is like in New Zealand. I like how you have talked about the sky tower and the population of people living in this country. Do you have a favourite playground that you like to visit?

Can you think of something else that is also endemic to New Zealand? Remember you are more than welcome to use the information you've learned from the previous SLJ activities so maybe you can talk about Tāne Mahuta the largest Kauri tree or even kiwi birds! What do you think?

Have you ever been to the south island? What are some things that the cities in south island are well-known for? (e.g. Christchurch)

    Talk soon,
    Susie
